Jaca is a small locality in the Aragon Valley in the province of Huesca, located in the Pyrenees of northern Spain. You'll find plenty of accommodations such as hotels, houses, villas, apartments and hostels for you and your family and friends to stay during your holdiays. In the winter you can enjoy the ski resorts of Astun or Candanchu as well as visit municipalities like Abay, Ipas, Orante and Atares.

Jaca has a population of 13,000 people, and it is the capital of the Jacetania. It is a municipality that has been the residence of kings and queens, a military fortress, and today a tourist destination for those who love to ski, snowboard or those of you who are nature lovers and enjoy spending time on the mountain.

In the 11th century the first Roman Cathedral was built in Jaca. The famous Santiago Trail goes through Jaca and is another of the important points of this city.

Jaca is above all a municipality that pays good attention to it's growing tourism rates. Tourism in Jaca during the winter focuses on skiing or snowboarding in resorts like Astun, Candanchu. The rest of the seasons you can enjoy nature at it's finest and all of the activities that the mountains offer. You can also enjoy a cultural tourism for those of you interested in the "camino de Santiago" (Santiago Trail) or the Roman monuments in the Aragon Pyrenees.
